John Crane Tidlo High Tea Set

One of our most popular toys! This is a lovely wooden two tiered cake stand and shape sorter high tea set with 15 different types of brightly coloured cakes. This is a great toy for individual or group play. Girls will love to have high tea parties and invite their friends and show off this delightful little tea set. The small wooden cakes can be matched to their places on the cake stand using either the base which is numbered 1-15 with the numbers on the base of the cakes, or using the tea set as a shape sorter, because each of the little wooden cakes is a different shape. Boys too are loving this shape sorter because it's so nicely made and fun to play with.

This helps children learn numbers and also means this lovely high tea set makes a wonderful shape sorter helping not only with the etiquette of a tea party but with the development of hand/eye coordination and shape recognition. What we like about this toy:

Each cake has a unique shape which fits the cut out on the plate. Each is also numbered. Most "copies" of this toy do not have these features.
